Whether you're age 1 or 91, there's something special for everyone at YMCA Camp
Nissokone! Bring the entire family for a relaxing getaway with plenty of fun,
adventure, and excitement! Family camping is a wonderful way to spend some
quality time together in peaceful, beautiful surroundings-playing, laughing,
singing, enjoying nature, and the company of family and newly found friends.
Your family will share special moments together at Nissokone that will make
lasting memories.

About Nissokone

Camp Nissokone, is located on 170 areas of
beautiful forest along the shores of Lake VanEttan, between the Huron National
Forest and the town of Oscoda. Camp has picturesque hiking trails, a large
waterfront, a climbing center, a skate park for the kids and young at heart, a
spacious main lodge, a theater, athletic fields, and more.

This great location on Fish Lake
will make you feel 100 miles away
from the daily grind, yet it is
centrally located in Holly only an
hour north of the Detroit metro
area. Good home cookin' is our
specialty and is served in the
dining hall overlooking the lake.

Every evening, families will
gather together for large group
programs in our main lodge. You and
your family may also choose to
explore Nissokone at your own pace
or simply relax by the lake.

Lodging and Meals
|
|
|
Enjoy your stay at camp in spacious, comfortable cabins overlooking the lake.
Our cabins were built in the 1920s and 30s in the "classic" camp
style with knotty pine interiors and private bathrooms with showers
at camp Nissokone. They can
easily accommodate one or more families. Hearty home-cooked meals are served
family style in our Main Lodge.

held at Camp Nissokone during the extended holiday weekends of Memorial day
& Labor day.
