Our Vision

With both Camp Ohiyesa and Nissokone, it is our vision to prepare your child to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow through programs that develop the individual, strengthen the family, and build safe, caring communities. A quality summer camping experience can provide one of the most exciting and precious memories in a your child's life!

Our Culture

Our camps provide a quality culture that is experienced in our environment, activities, staff, and facilities. Your child will experience:

Small Group Environment
We limit the number of campers each session to ensure a caring family atmosphere where each child is known and treated as an individual. Within this small group environment, children grow in self-confidence, learn to work cooperatively with others, and improve their sense of responsibility and independence.

Highly Trained Staff
Our staff provides a supervised, fun and challenging camp experience in a safe and caring environment.

Growth and Development
Your child will not only build memories that last a lifetime, but will also become more appreciative of nature, develop new and lasting friendships, experience new activities, and grow in creativity and awareness of the world around them.

Exciting/Challenging Activities
During their stay, you child will enjoy several daily activities including: swim lessons, horseback riding, fishing, nature hikes, archery, sailing, and much more!

Beautiful Camp Facilities
Both of our camps offer beautiful lodging, each with its own unique offerings.

Our Staff

The key to our success is our experienced and enthusiastic staff. Our counselors are carefully chosen from a variety of colleges and most are students of education, social work, and recreation. In addition, we have highly qualified and specialized staff for each activity area to ensure that campers get the best learning experience.

All of our staff members are chosen for their maturity, enthusiasm, and ability to be positive role models for your child. Prior to your camper's arrival at camp, prospective staff members undergo a thorough background check, drug screening and an intensive training program. Most importantly, our staff members understand, and value, young people and are committed to helping campers develop in positive ways.
